We are now taking reservations for our latest Partake event at Middendorf’s Slidell: “Sugar & Spice, Whiskey & Ice” — a Whiskey Tasting Dinner on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 6:30pm. Whether you’re Jack or Jill, Whiskey is for everyone.

Jorge Lauriano with William Grant & Sons will join us to showcase a fine selection of spirits. Jorge is a whole lot of fun, and he really knows his stuff when it comes to whiskey. After all, he works for William Grant & Sons, a leader in the international spirits industry with distilling and bottling operations in Scotland, Ireland, Iceland, India, the USA and Mexico. Since 1887, they have been making a name for themselves with quality and innovation. Their core brands are Glenfiddich, Grant’s, The Balvenie, Hendrick’s, Sailor Jerry, Tullamore D.E.W, Drambuie and Monkey Shoulder.

Throughout the evening, Jorge will craft inspired cocktails to compliment a four course gourmet meal prepared by Horst Pfeifer. Horst is the Current Owner of Middendorf’s and Former Owner of Bella Luna, a fine dining restaurant in the French Quarter. He is also, and most importantly, a European Master Chef. This coveted title will really come in handy with the ambitious menu Horst has prepared for our guests…

Bella Luna Focaccia Bread and Whipped Butter will be available throughout the meal.

The evening begins at 6:30pm in the “Bella Luna” private dining room with welcome cocktails: Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade, Milagro Strawberry Margarita and Reyka Cold Snap Cosmopolitan. Feel free to walk around and mingle. At 7:00pm, we will ask for everyone to be seated. Dinner will begin shortly.

Seating is banquet style. This is a social event celebrating our shared love of food and spirits. Attire is business casual. The price for this Whiskey Tasting Dinner is 100.00 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity). Reservations are required.
